Volunteer in Styrkeprøven 2024

Would you like to know more about being a volunteer in Styrkeprøven ?

Gain valuable experience, come to an information meeting for volunteers! We serve something to bite into and drink and talk about how we run Styrkeprøven today and which tasks we need help with.

Being a volunteer can give you a different insight into cycling than you had before. You are close to what is happening, and you contribute to a good and successful event. It’s a good feeling when you know that your efforts make a difference, and that it is appreciated both by participants and the rest of us you work with. Volunteering can also be very social, and you may discover new, good aspects of yourself that you didn’t know you had?

There are many reasons why one chooses to be a volunteer at Styrkeprøven . You may have had good experiences in Styrkeprøven yourself and want to give something back. Others may want a certificate they can attach to their CV or something positive to talk about at a job interview, and others again want to contribute to something they think is important and meet acquaintances.

Styrkeprøven is a large event with heavy logistics. It requires many people to be involved and contribute.

We also organize Jotunheimen Rundt, which runs 14 days later. Jotunheimen Rundt is slightly easier and has fewer participants, but it is also a long and demanding race to organize. If you are interested in contributing there, you are welcome.

We will have an information meeting for volunteers in the municipal farm in Sandvika on the 8th. November at 7 p.m. The address is Arnold Haukelands plass 10, 1338 Sandvika. It is easy to get there by train, and there are also good parking options. We will talk about how we run Styrkeprøven today, which tasks we need help with and what we offer our volunteers and what we expect from them.

As there will be some catering during the meeting, it is good if you let us know that you are coming. Send us an e-mail to [email protected] . This also applies if you are interested but cannot come to the meeting, send us an e-mail or call us on 993 39 750.
