The 17th edition of the road race classic Oslo – Lærdal will be organized Sep 7th 2019. The route is somewhat adjusted to further enhance the experience.
In 2018 Styrkeprøven reopened the Norwegian Classic Oslo – Lærdal after 18 years of hibernation. The reception from the cycling community was fantastic and we are pleased to race again this fall. We have made some alterations to the route and welcome you all to an amazing day in the saddle. Please reserve the first weekend in September in years to come.

You have a maximum of 16 hours to your disposal.
Norway has three official solo record routes. One of them is the reversed route, Lærdal – Oslo.
365 km accompanied by 3122 meters of climbing.
Limited amount of bibs – 300.
The race will be organized annually on the first weekend of September Previous races.
The race is limited to 300 bibs. Last year the race was booked within a few weeks – do not postpone your registration to ensure your seat.
The start is organized via master with three starting groups.
Exceptional winding country roads offer the best of Norwegian nature and we can guarantee that you have never seen anything quite like this. Smaller service roads are the mantra and the route only touches the highway when no other option is available. You will also enjoy shorter sections of gravel.
The 2019 edition offers you 365 km of pure joy.

Four possibilities exist for transport after the race. Please note that you need to pre-book this during your registration, alternatively add this to your booking via our Entry Login following your initial registration. All transports depart from Lærdal Torg, Øyraplassen 2, 6887 Lærdal.
