It became clear early in 2021 that it would not be possible to maintain the normal June timing, and since then much work has gone into trying to set a new date later in the year.
To run the Styrkeprøven in a safe manner we are heavily dependent upon support and resources from the police. This event runs over two full days including overnight, and with many other events being delayed until the autumn we have been unable to secure adequate support to run the event safely.
We have however been successful in maintaining the original plans for Jotunheimen Rundt, Sognefjellrittet, Oslo - Lærdal and Oslo - Mysen as these are smaller events requiring less support from external resources.
We are now working on the practicalities of reimbursement of entry fees already paid and hope to have this in place shortly. The reimbursement options will be as follows.
- Full refund of the entry fee
- Entry fee from Styrkeprøven used to enter Oslo - Lærdal and/or Oslo - Mysen with a 15% discount on entries for both races. This will include refund of any cost difference.
- Opportunity to move the registration to 2022
- Completion of the Styrkeprøven QR against any amount over NOK 300
