In 1988, NRK produced a nine-minute pictorial report from The Great Test of Strength, which at the time was a 60-mile cycle race along the E6 from Trondheim to Oslo. Now the race goes through Folldal and is a little shorter. Perhaps it wasn’t quite 60 miles in 1988 either. However, there was a lot of hard work and a lot of joy back then too. The start was also in 1988 from the square in Trondheim, but the finish has been moved many times since and is now in Groruddalen in Oslo.
